What is Shockwave Therapy?

Focused Shockwave Therapy is a clinically proven, drug-free, pain-free treatment for men’s sexual health conditions including vasculogenic erectile dysfunction, Chronic Pelvic Pain Prostatitis and ED in men who have Peyronie’s disease.

It is the only non-invasive procedure that treats the root causes of erectile dysfunction in men by increasing blood flow, forming new blood vessels, and breaking down micro-plaques in the penis.

Typically patients will notice some change within a few weeks of starting treatment, but with the most significant changes occurring after 6 – 8 weeks, and if you address the underlying causes of your ED, such as high blood pressure or excess weight, then the results can be permanent.

Meet your clinician

James is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the British Osteopathic Association. Having qualified from the British School of Osteopathy in 2003 he took an associateship at Stowmarket Osteopaths.

He has enjoyed periods of undergraduate and postgraduate lecturing, particularly in areas of sports medicine as he combines his clinical knowledge with his previous degree/career in exercise physiology and health management. His interests include persistent and complex pain syndromes, Erectile Dysfunction, sports injuries and foot problems.

James is one of the early adopters of Shockwave Therapy in the UK, his experience and expertise has led him from Shockwave Therapy for MSK applications to successfully treating male sexual dysfunction.
