What is Shockwave Therapy?

Focused Shockwave Therapy involves passing high-frequency acoustic pulses through the affected area, breaking down fatty plaques, increasing blood flow and stimulating natural repair processes.

It is the only non-invasive procedure that treats the root causes of erectile dysfunction in men by increasing blood flow, forming new blood vessels, and breaking down micro-plaques in the penis.

Chris qualified from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1994 having completed 4 years’ full time training. Since qualification he has worked in private practice and consulted to many industries promoting physical health, risk assessment and correct manual handling.

Post graduate training includes dry needling (acupuncture), electrotherapy including ultrasound,  focal & radial shockwave therapy, EMTT (extracorporeal magnetotransduction therapy) and exercise rehabilitation.

Chris is a structural osteopath in Horsham, West Sussex with an interest in chronic pain, arthritis and men’s pelvic health.  He is the principal osteopath at the clinic, happy to treat patients of all ages and has been helping people in Horsham for 25 years.

Chris lives with his wife and their retriever Sibyl; he swims to keep fit.
